Phoenix police are investigating after a woman was stabbed during an attempted robbery near 24th Street and Baseline Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators said the victim, who is in her 50's, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries shortly after 4 p.m. She was in the Walmart parking lot when she was stabbed.
A possible suspect has been detained and is being questioned by police, officials said.
None of the victim's belongings were taken, police said.
