A family is mourning the loss of two just six days after a rollover accident on I-10 west of Goodyear.
Daniela Ramirez says she was in the car with her sister-in-law Maria Carmen and seven of her children that day.
It was her four year old son, Jacob, that died in the accident along with Carmen.
Sunday the family honored the two. More than 20 people showed up to Desert West Regional Park to light candles and pray.
Ramirez says her son was the most joyous four year old.
"I just want them to remember my son just being happy and laughing and just running around saying I'm buddy. and then getting mad and saying I'm not buddy,” said Ramirez.
Several of Ramirez’s children were at the vigil despite injuries, wanting to honor their brother. One son, David, is still in the hospital being treated for his injuries. Family members say he’s made a remarkable recovery.
