PHOENIX — A 1-year-old girl has been hospitalized after a near-drowning call in west Phoenix Saturday afternoon.
Officials say the child was found underwater in a swimming pool near 99th Avenue and Indian School Road.
When Phoenix fire crews arrived on the scene, bystanders were performing CPR on the child.
She was then transported to a nearby hospital in extremely critical condition.
