The Rural/Metro Fire Department is helping nine people who were injured in an off-road single-vehicle crash near 107th and Southern avenues on Sunday afternoon.
According to both the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office and the fire department, three people were ejected from a pick-up truck that rolled over near Tolleson when it was traveling on a dirt road.
Phoenix police said the driver and his wife were traveling with six children and a grandmother in the truck when the driver accidentally drove down a cement embankment.
The grandmother suffered a possible broken bone and the driver has some injuries to his face, but they are expected to be OK. The driver's wife and the six children were taken to a hospital as a precaution and are also expected to be fine.
