Five people are hospitalized in critical condition after a crash involving multiple cars in Phoenix.
Authorities were called to the accident near 33rd Avenue and Thomas Road Sunday night.
Five people were taken to local trauma centers, a Phoenix fire spokesperson said.
No additional information was released, but drivers should avoid the area.
An investigation is ongoing.
