Phoenix Fire Department firefighters responded to a house fire in West Phoenix Friday afternoon.
According to firefighters, the blaze was believed to be coming from a car inside the garage at the residence near Lower Buckeye Road and 83rd Avenue.
Crews were able to isolate the fire to just the garage and the family will be able to remain at home.
A resident told crews she heard a loud noise in the garage and found a lot of smoke when she went to check on it.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
