PHOENIX — Police are investigating on officer-involved shooting in the west Valley Monday afternoon.
The shooting happened near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road around 2:15 p.m.
Authorities say the suspect who was shot is the same suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting at a business near 95th Avenue and Camelback Road earlier Monday morning.
The suspect was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police say. He is not being identified at this time.
No officers were injured in the incident, according to police.
