PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating a death in west Phoenix.
Early Friday, police were called to the area of 59th Avenue and McDowell Road for reports of a vehicle on fire. At the scene, they located a man dead inside the vehicle.
Police officials say the investigation is in the early stages and don't have much information at this time, however, they say it's being investigated as a homicide.
Officials say they are currently working to identify the victim.
