PHOENIX — One person has died following a house fire near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road Thursday afternoon.
Police say they responded to the scene at around 12:45 p.m.
When they arrived, firefighters say they located a man who was found dead inside the home with "extensive burns to this body."
Officers say foul play is not suspected in this incident.
Fire investigators are currently working to determine a cause for the fire.
