A motorcyclist is critically hurt after a collision that happened in west Phoenix Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at 75th Avenue and Osborn Road just before 11 a.m.
Phoenix police say the collision involved a car and a motorcycle. The rider was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition, according to Phoenix fire officials.
The intersection was closed for several hours while detectives investigated the collision but it has since been reopened.
