Phoenix police detectives are looking for a suspect after a deadly party shooting overnight.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, around 3 a.m. at a house near 63rd Avenue and Osborn Road, a fight broke out.

Police found Jorge Guevara Franco, 19, in the roadway who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Franco was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

While police investigated the incident, they found out that another man, 23, arrived at a Valley hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds. Police believe the 23-year-old was injured at the house party. Police believe Franco shot the 23-year-old after engaging in a physical fight with him. The man remains in critical condition.

Police said a third person, who they have not been able to identify, fired from a gun and the bullets struck and killed Franco. Police have not been able to take that individual into custody.

A neighbor told ABC15 that he heard multiple gunshots in the early morning and immediately grabbed his kids and put them on the floor for their safety. He then called 911.
