PHOENIX — A boy is in critical condition following a shooting in west Phoenix on Saturday evening.
According to Phoenix police, just after 8:50 p.m. officers responded to a report of a fight with shots fired near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road.
As officers arrived on scene, they found a juvenile male with a gunshot injury.
He was then taken to the hospital.
Police say the suspect remains outstanding at this time.
No further information was available on the boy's age or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
