Officials are investigating a deadly crash near Grand Canyon University.
Phoenix police said Camelback Road was closed between 31st and 34th avenues after the single-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon.
According to police, the vehicle crashed into a pole. A 48-year-old man was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they believe the man suffered a medical emergency before the crash.
The victim is not being identified at this time.
