PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in a vehicle near 43rd and Clarendon avenues Sunday afternoon.
Phoenix police say they responded to a parking lot at around 1:30 p.m. in reference to a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man, later identified as 43-year-old Gabriel Lopez-Felix, inside of a vehicle who had been shot.
Officials then transported Lopez-Felix to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Phoenix police say this is an ongoing investigation, and they are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
