Phoenix Police are investigating after a man was shot during an attempted robbery early Monday morning.
Police say the victim and his friend were walking near 70th Avenue and Indian School around 12:30 a.m. when another man tried to take his money.
During the robbery attempt, the suspect, only described as a Hispanic man in his twenties, fired a shot, injuring the victim.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No other information has been released.
