Phoenix police have identified 18-year-old Cherokee Love as the victim of a shooting Tuesday night in west Phoenix.

According to Phoenix police, officers responded to the scene of an "unknown trouble" near 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.
Love was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead, police said. Police are calling the case a homicide, but no suspect information has been released.
