PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a person died in a west Phoenix park on Saturday afternoon.
According to Phoenix police, a person was found unresponsive at Cielito Park near 35th and Campbell avenues around 5 p.m.
Emergency crews responded to the scene but declared the person dead. Police say a medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
The person has not yet been identified.
An investigation is underway.
