PHOENIX — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in west Phoenix.
Officers were called to the area of 51st Avenue and McDowell Road around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a call about a shooting.
Responding officers located an adult man, later identified as Frankie Christopher Garcia, 28, inside a white SUV at the scene.
Video from the scene showed the white SUV partially in the parking lot of the El Guero Canelo business.
Initial information suggests the shooting may have started as a driving-related incident, but the homicide is still under investigation.
A lighter-colored SUV is believed to have been involved and the suspect has not been located.
