LAVEEN, AZ — Shots fired outside of a Valley high school football game forced evacuations on Friday night.
According to Phoenix police, shots were reportedly fired in the area of Betty Fairfax High School near 56th and South Mountain avenues.
Police said the incident did not happen at the high school, and that no injuries have been reported.

Attendees were forced to evacuate and players were rushed to the locker rooms, according to sources at the scene.

Phoenix PD has a marked patrol car near the entrance. Appears their helicopter is overhead as well.
