A 55-year-old woman has been arrested after she allegedly shot at a woman in west Phoenix.

Phoenix police said CindyAnn Lowe saw a woman she had previous problems with walking near 69th Avenue and Camelback Road.

Lowe stopped the car, exited the vehicle and fired several shots at the victim and left the scene.

The victim was able to get to a nearby house and called 911. She was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to police, it appears the bullet traveled through the victim’s purse and was slowed down by the contents in the purse.

The suspect was later located by police at her home where she was arrested while trying to leave from a side door.

Lowe was booked into jail on one count of aggravated assault.
