Two kids were among the victims of two violent overnight home invasions in Maryvale.
Police say both incidents happened between 12:30 am and 1:30 am. Wednesday morning.
The first happened near 83rd Avenue and Osborn Road. Police are looking for 5 or 6 suspects. The victims told police the suspects were dressed in body armor and kicked in the front door and held them gun point.
Ken Crane, the President of Phoenix Law Enforcement Association said criminals who dress in body armor mean business.
"They're going to go out and commit a very serious felony offense," said Crane. "They know there's a possibility they could run up against a homeowner that might have firearms in their home for protection."
The other incident happened near 47th Avenue and Indian School Road.
The suspects broke in, but left before police arrived. Police said they believe the crime is drug related.
No one was hurt in either case.
