Police say three people wanted for an armed robbery in Phoenix and shooting at witnesses in Glendale have been apprehended.
Around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Phoenix police say three men robbed a vendor in El Oso Park, near 75th Avenue and Thomas.
A police spokesman said the suspects took off to the north and witnesses followed their vehicle. One of the suspects fired shots at the witnesses, hitting their vehicle. No one was injured in the shooting.
The suspects abandoned their vehicle near 75th Avenue and Bethany Home. Glendale officers took two of the suspects into custody near the vehicle, and the third was apprehended a few blocks away in the backyard of a home after a 90-minute search.
Police said there are no other suspects wanted in connection with the incident. Phoenix officers will investigate the robbery while Glendale officers will investigate the shots fired at the witnesses.
