Authorities are investigating a crash involving a mini-van and a semi-truck.
Phoenix police say a mini-van with two adults and six children inside crashed head-on with a semi-truck while making a left turn near 75th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.
The female driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, said police. Two children were also taken to the hospital after being injured from broken glass.
Police shut down 75th Avenue and Buckeye Road in west Phoenix while crews worked to clear the scene.
