PHOENIX — Phoenix police say a suspect has been arrested after allegedly shooting and killing a nail salon owner during a robbery.
Police say 45-year-old Dung Tang was shot just after 9 a.m. at a salon near 51st Avenue and McDowell Road during a robbery on June 5. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but has since died from his injuries.
An adult woman was also inside at the time but was not injured.
The suspect, Dwayne Jamerson, allegedly fled the scene before police arrived.
Police say Jamerson was taken into custody Wednesday morning. Details on what led to his arrest have not been released.
Jamerson faces charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault.
