U.S. 60 near Glode reopens after deadly crash

The US 60 near Globe has reopened following Sunday's deadly crash. The Arizona Department of Transportation tweeted out the reopening.

On Sunday, a deadly crash shut down a part of U.S. 60 near Globe, according to the Department of Public Safety.

Officials said one person was pronounced dead after crashing in the eastbound lanes of the road, approximately eight miles east of Globe, shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday. The road was closed in both directions and reopened overnight.

The cause of the crash and name of the victim were not released.
