Authorities say two people were hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a block wall Tuesday afternoon.
The Superstition Fire and Medical District says the crash happened near Tomahawk Road and Superstition Boulevard.
Two people suffered life-threatening injuries and required specialized equipment to be removed, firefighters said.

Superstition Road was closed in both directions from Vista Road, just east of the intersection.
No further information was immediately available.
