The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office located two riders Thursday, a day after their quad vehicle became stuck in snow on Four Peaks Mountain, about 60 miles east of Phoenix.
Sheriff's spokesman Chris Hegstrom said he did not know their current condition.
Searchers had to navigate extremely rugged terrain to find them, Hegstrom added.
