An Apache Junction-area car dealership was left with damaged cars and a huge mess to clean up after a driver crashed through a wall along the freeway Friday morning.
According to information from the scene near US-60 and Tomahawk Road, a driver drove off the exit ramp and continued through a chain link fence before crashing through a concrete wall separating the freeway from a Ford dealership.
The vehicle came to a stop in the car lot.
Video from the scene showed a truck with extensive front-end damage and car lot vehicles with other damage.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the at-fault driver was treated at the hospital for minor injuries and has since been released.
It's unknown what caused the vehicle to exit the freeway and crash, but DPS says it does not appear to be because of impairment or a medical issue.
