Bruster's Real Ice Cream coming to Chandler

Posted

It seems frozen treats and ice cream are hot cool commodities in Arizona.

And why not, it's hot here and we all need a reason to cool off. So, in the end, we're not complaining.

Bruster's Real Ice Cream, which is based in Pennsylvania, announced last week plans to open its first Arizona location in Chandler.

The local franchise owners, Kevin and Trinette Markey, are still looking for a specific spot to set up shop, but they plan on opening sometime this summer, according to the media release.

Last year, the East Coast chain opened stores in Southern California.

Bruster's ice cream is made fresh at each store. The company has over 150 flavors and each location is able to make 24 flavors a day. If your sweet tooth changes a lot, this could be a good thing.

The first Bruster'sReal Ice Cream store opened in Bridgewater, Pennsylvania in 1989.
