Authorities are looking into what has been determined as the sixth suspicious fire in a Chandler neighborhood in the past month.

Fire crews were called a fence fire near McClintock and Chandler Boulevard Friday evening.

This fire is the latest in a string that has burned a trailer, car, shed, backyard fence and house in the Pepperwood neighborhood near Chandler Boulevard and McClintock.

Thursday, ABC15 talked to Tom Leeper, who was shaken up about one fire that was near his home.

Friday night, it was Leeper's property that was on fire when the fence outside his house went up in flames.

Investigators said the fire started on a fence that runs between Leeper's house and his neighbor's.

Leeper's wife, Kara, said her husband grabbed their two boys, ages two and four, and got out of the house.

If there is a particular person or people responsible for the fires, she pleaded for the fires to stop.

"I think I would just say, ‘Think about who you're impacting,'" said Kara Leeper. “These are my kids. They are my life. And you have no consideration for people's property and human life."

No injuries were reported.
