CHANDLER, AZ — UPDATE: Chandler police say India Carldwell has been found safe and being reunited with her family.

The Chandler Police Department says a Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 13-year-old girl with autism.
Police say India Carldwell was last seen at a grocery store at Alma School and Elliot roads in Chandler at about 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Police say India is an African American female, about 5'0 tall with a medium build. She was last seen wearing a light colored shirt, black pants, brown shoes and light blue jacket. She was carrying two backpacks, one pink and one black.

Police say she has autism and has a speech impediment.
