Chandler's Tumbleweed Tree lighting ceremony and parade this Saturday

The City of Chandler is gearing up for their annual Tumbleweed Tree lighting ceremony this Saturday downtown.

To officially kick off the holiday season, Chandler officials are hosting a nighttime parade featuring colorful lights before the lighting of the Tumbleweed Tree. 

Santa will also be attending the event and kids are invited to write Christmas wish-lists and personally deliver them to St. Nick’s mailbox.

There will also be live entertainment — including various dance performances and the Chandler Symphony.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Event begins at 4:30 p.m. and wraps up at 9 p.m.
Parade: 7 p.m.
Tree lighting ceremony: 8 p.m.
Cost: FREE
