A serious crash involving a cement truck has shut down Loop 202 in the Ahwatukee area.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred just west of the Interstate 10 interchange along westbound Loop 202.
The driver of a cement truck experienced a tire blowout and the driver swerved, hitting the concrete median.
The truck kept moving and was impacted by a Ford Mustang that ended up underneath the rear axle of the truck.
DPS says the cement truck driver has life-threatening injuries and the Mustang driver has serious injuries.
