CHANDLER, AZ — State Route 347 has been reopened near Riggs Road following a deadly crash on the highway Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, when a vehicle crashed into the back of a semi truck, according to DPS.

SR 347 SB is closed at I-10 because of a crash at Riggs Road.

Crews closed SR-347 at Maricopa Road due to the crash.
Officials recommended for drivers to exit the I-10 at Riggs Road to continue south on the SR-347 as workers cleared the scene.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said the roadway had reopened around 1:20 p.m.
