Maricopa County deputies are looking for a man who unsuccessfully attempted to carjack a pregnant woman and carjacked an elderly woman in Sun Lakes Thursday morning.
MCSO Public Information Officer Doug Matteson said the suspect, only described as an adult with a dark complexion, first approached a woman who is three months pregnant at a Shell gas station near Riggs Road and Alma School and pulled out a weapon.

He tried to grab her keys, but the woman fought back and won. She suffered a couple scratches from the struggle, she said.
The man then ran across the street to a Walgreens where he targeted an elderly female. He again displayed a weapon, according to MCSO, grabbed the woman's keys and drove off in her blue Toyota Camry.
The woman was scared, but otherwise unharmed.
Deputies are now looking for her vehicle and the suspect.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact MCSO.
