One person was killed in a wrong-way crash along Interstate 10 near Chandler Boulevard overnight.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say they received wrong-way driver reports around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
DPS says a silver sedan was reportedly headed eastbound in the westbound lanes near Ray Road before they received more calls that a crash occurred west of Chandler Boulevard.
The wrong-way driver, only identified as a 25-year-old woman from Phoenix, reportedly struck another vehicle, killing the other driver.
The wrong-way driver suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Impairment is believed to be a factor in the crash.
DPS says a third vehicle struck debris from the crash, but the driver is OK.
