A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a car in Chandler Friday morning.
Police responded to the area of Price and Queen Creek roads around 7:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a collision.
A man, identified by police as 44-year-old Robert Foster, was hit by a vehicle and taken to a hospital where he later died of his injuries, a police spokesman said. He is believed to have been jogging at the time of the crash.
