Starting this week, kids in the East Valley can get breakfast or lunch at no cost.
Dozens of locations will serve meals and snacks to kids 18 and younger. At several locations, parents can eat at minimal cost as well.
The Chandler School District is not requiring any proof of income.
The program is open to all parents and children in Mesa. Advanced registration and income qualification are NOT required.
The program starts June 3.
