A Chandler karate instructor who pleaded guilty to child molestation has been sentenced to nine years in prison.
Scott Alan Flood also was sentenced Friday to lifetime probation.
Flood was arrested on suspicion of two counts of child molestation in June 2012 when he was 47.
Authorities say Flood had been instructing karate to 3-to 6-year-olds in the Chandler area for the past decade.
A 5-year-old girl told Chandler police that Flood allegedly touched her inappropriately at school and told her not to tell her parents.
The other victim's allegations stem from a case in 2010 in Tempe.
Tempe police say those allegations didn't meet the statutory requirements for a sex crime, so they investigated them as an assault.
He also pleaded guilty in August to aggravated assault and voyeurism.
