CHANDLER, AZ — Chandler police are on the hunt for a third suspect accused in an attempted home invasion and stabbing.
Authorities say around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to a home near Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard for reports of shots fired.
When they arrived they found a victim with multiple wounds that ended up being from a sharp object. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and is said to have non-life threatening injuries. Officers determined no shots were fired.
Investigators say it happened as three suspects were attempting to get into the home with the intent of robbing it.
Witnesses described the vehicle seen driving away from the home around the same time.
Police were able to track it down to a home in Mesa where an adult and juvenile were located and arrested. A third suspect remains outstanding.
