Firefighters responded to a house fire that was apparently sparked by a lightning strike in southeast Gilbert.
The incident happened late Tuesday night in the area of Queen Creek Road and Val Vista Drive.
Gilbert fire said a home was struck by lightning which sparked an attic fire. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to the rest of the home and worked to put out hotspots.
No injuries were reported.
