After a bit of chase with authorities, Gilbert Police Department says a peacock is back at his home Wednesday.

The 'hot pursuit' began just before noon near Lindsay and Warner roads.
Officers were able to get a hold of the bird and returned him to his owners about an hour later, but not before he scaled a wall.

The peacock did not suffer any injuries.
