A Gilbert man who pleaded guilty to fatally shooting a woman and a teenage boy in his home last year has been sentenced to two life prison terms.
Maricopa County Superior Court officials say Matthew Crain also was sentenced Friday to an additional 10 1/2 years in prison for two counts of first-degree murder and single counts of aggravated assault, burglary and misconduct involving weapons.
The 35-year-old Crain changed his plea to guilty last month.
Prosecutors say Crain shot 33-year-old Stacey Steward and her daughter's 17-year-old boyfriend Alex Tamborski on Oct. 11, 2015 during a dispute at the home Crain and Steward shared.
Police found the two victims dead at the scene.
They say Steward's daughter escaped and notified police.
Authorities say Tamborski was the girl's boyfriend and was visiting.
