A pregnant woman has been arrested for a deadly hit-and-run crash in Gilbert.
Gilbert police took 22-year-old Yongela Ward into custody after receiving a tip from a neighbor.
A neighbor told police they saw a vehicle that matched the description of the damaged vehicle that was seen leaving the scene of a crash near Queen Creek and Power Roads on March 21.
A search warrant was served on the house and the suspect's vehicle was found inside the garage.
Ward was arrested for leaving the scene of a deadly crash.
She was not booked into jail because she is pregnant.
