MESA, AZ — Authorities say a crane tipped over on top of a mobile home in Mesa Friday as crews were working on putting new power line poles in the trailer park.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) said deputies responded to a report of a crane that tipped over while a worker was lifting an object. While the new power line poles were being placed in the trailer park, the crane tipped onto a mobile home and grazed another.
Authorities said both mobile homes were vacant and no injuries were reported.
The crane was leaking diesel fuel after tipping over and another crane was used to remove it.
A brief power outage impacted residents but was soon restored, according to MCSO.
