MESA, AZ — The Mesa Police Department is investigating a two vehicle crash that left seven people injured.
The crash happened Saturday around 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Lindsay Road and University Drive.
According to the Mesa Fire Department, there was a total of seven patients, including four children.
One adult was rushed to a hospital trauma center in critical condition. The conditions of the other patients haven't been released.
The crash was caused when one of the drivers traveling eastbound decided to turn northbound onto Lindsay in front of another vehicle, according to Mesa PD. Impairment is not believed to be a factor.
