MESA, AZ — A wrong-way driver on US-60 was arrested for aggravated DUI on Wednesday night.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, troopers responded to reports of a vehicle traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of US-60 from Crismon Road.
DPS says Mesa air units helped track the vehicle and troopers were able to stop the driver near Power Road.
The driver was identified as 66-year-old Edward Sandoval of Mesa.
He was arrested for aggravated DUI and at least 15 counts of endangerment, DPS says.
No crash or injuries were reported during the wrong-way incident.
