A 10-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital after she was hurt on a slide in Mesa Friday.
The incident happened around 5 p.m. near Broadway and Sossaman roads.
Firefighters tell ABC15,the girl was sliding down the slide with a scarf on when it got caught about halfway down. Fire crews were able to cut her down and move her to safety.
Officials said the girl was transported to the hospital in critical condition. She was upgraded to stable condition when she arrived.
The girl is not being identified at this time.
