Mesa first responders were called out to a mobile home fire Thursday morning.
Forrest Smith, spokesperson for Mesa Fire & Medical Department, said dispatchers received reports of a mobile home fire near Broadway and Dobson around 8 a.m.
Crews arrived and found a double-wide trailer fully involved with fire. They were able to put it out and prevent the fire from spreading to nearby homes.

Video provided by Mesa Fire showed heavy smoke coming from many areas of the home, as well as a lot of damage. Smith described it as a "total loss."
No one was home at the time of the fire and no firefighters were hurt.
