Firefighters from Mesa and Gilbert were injured during a joint training exercise in Mesa.
The incident happened on Monday morning near Gilbert Road and Southern Avenue.
Mesa fire said two firefighters received leg injuries during a hose deployment exercise. Both firefighters were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The incident is under investigation to see if correct procedures were followed.
